Environmental Interpretive Center’s Rick Simek will discuss habitat management activities for the UM-D Environmental Study Area. Rick is an interpretive naturalist and the manager of the UM-D natural areas.

In his talk, Rick will describe the basics of habitat management planning, invasive plant control, and native habitat rehabilitation. He will also share thoughts and experiences relating to the importance of local stakeholder interest and involvement in the habitat management process.
