Master Gardener College, East Lansing, $70-$245


Are you sick and tired of Michigan’s gloomy weather? Can’t wait for spring to finally arrive? The Master Gardener Volunteer Management System is happy to brighten your day with more information about the keynote speakers who will be presenting at the 2017 Master Gardener College, to be held June 23-24 in East Lansing: Janet Draper, Smithsonian Institution Horticulturist, and Dr. Dan Herms, Ohio State University Entomology Specialist. 

Master Gardener College is an annual event hosted by MSU Extension designed to support and enhance the research and science-based knowledge of re-certified MSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and current Trainees. Master Gardener College will also be open to the public, so bring friends!    

MG College will be held at the MSU University Club Complex (home to the MSU Henry Center, MSU University Club and Candlewood Suites) on south campus. The entire event will take place at one location providing a convenient and relaxing experience. The MSU University Club Complex offers easy access to lodging, lots of meeting spaces, and FREE onsite parking. 

In addition to keynote addresses, there will be hands-on workshops and tours on Friday as well as 15 breakout sessions on Saturday with plenty of opportunities to visit the Garden Marketplace and pick up gardening and garden-related supplies and gifts, from great books, gloves, pruners/nippers, shirts, lotions, soap, garden art, plants and much more. 

Plan to attend June 23-24 for 2017 MG College at the MSU University Club Complex in East Lansing. The cost to attend Master Gardener College will vary based upon the activities you elect. Visit the Master Gardener College website to keep apprised of developments for this exciting event!
