Join FOTR member Gail Barber on a trek through the Berberian Woods, a surprisingly diverse floodplain forest with beautiful spring wildflowers. Gail was a critical player in the efforts to protect this piece of land.
The Rouge River watershed drains 466 square miles in southeast Michigan through 48 communities. Many people are unaware of its many parks and natural areas just waiting to be explored. Join us once a month to get to know a unique part of the watershed.
Explore the Rouge activities are free and open to the public. Donations are welcome and encouraged.
